Slice the bread into 1-inch cubes and add to a big bowl.
Drizzle olive oil over the pieces, and add the salt, garlic powder and parmesan. Toss it all together until all the bread cubes get coated.
Spread the mixture out on a lined baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until the croutons are browned and the parmesan is bubbling.
Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
*You can use whatever bread you like or have hanging around in your kitchen for this recipe. I used whole grain bread for the recipe. I keep bread that’s about to go stale in my freezer, and then pull out to use to make these croutons.
